    Olga Segura

    Producer and actress

    Olga Segura is a Mexican producer currently residing in the United States. Olga has produced over 8 films and her projects have premiered at world class film festivals including Venice, Berlin and Sundance.

    Her last film, Waiting for the Barbarians was based on the novel written by Nobel Prize winner J.M. Coetzee, it was directed by Oscar-nominated Ciro Guerra, and premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2019. Her most recent project is a documentary based on the 3-time Latin Grammy winner singer and composer Carla Morrison which she is co-directing and producing.

    In addition, along with her partners, writer Alex Kondrake and activist Monica Ramirez, she founded The Latinx House, a platform for people who appreciate, support and celebrate the excellence of the Latinx community.

    Segura is also a co-founder of Poderistas a movement and platform designed to empower the next generation of Latinas.

    Bárbara Arredondo Ayala

    Activist, organizer and producer

    Journalist, entrepreneur and cultural curator Barbara has dedicated her life to give visibility to our generation’s most inspiring leaders. She began her career as a journalist where she wrote about issues such as social awareness, gender equality, climate change, and emotional intelligence.

    Bárbara has created and advised movements and forums in Latin America, New York and Japan.

    Bárbara co-founded Decididas, curates Decididas Summit. She co-founded Anónima Media, a media company focused on telling stories created by women alongside Eréndira Ibarra and Natasha Ybarra-Klor. Bárbara participates and produces in Estas Morras podcast.
